The mission of the Department of Information Technology is to provide quality information technology (IT) services and solutions to customers, effectively aligning business and technology objectives through collaboration, in order to provide the most cost-effective solutions that facilitate and improve the conduct of business for our Town residents, businesses, visitors and government entities.
Floyd Bailey began working for the Town of Abingdon as the Director of Information Technology in August 2006. He has worked with several Network services firms and Fortune 500 computer technology companies.
